We are like a big empty room when we are born. There is no furniture in this room; no decorations; no windows; no doors; even no paint on the walls.

From outside, this room looks exactly like what we see in the mirror. Just after the birth, our parents work on strengthening the walls. They feed us; nourish us; clean us; protect us. Then, they - together with our teachers - start painting our walls, i.e., educate us. They put us in a good school for education. Just like the paint is necessary to protect the walls from water and sun, education is necessary to protect us from the challenges of this world. Painting is a continuous process that happens at discrete intervals.

While this process is going on, we get conscious ourselves too. We also start filling up this room with some materialistic things. In the early childhood, we fill it with toys (cars, dolls, guns). Later we fill in our wardrobes with dresses; our shelves with trophies.

Then comes the interesting part, when we carve out windows in this room. These windows provide a view of a specific scenary. It may be a college scenary; or an office setting; or a romantic evening view. Each window is dedicated to a significant feeling or ambition. Beware!! these windows can be used by outsiders to look into your room.
